I will be having my hernie repair/TT on 3/9 and plan on taking 4 weeks off. I also have a desk job, and have fore-warned my boss that I may still be hobbly and hunched over, and he said he would accomodate anything I needed (it happened to be the time when I was also giving my resignation for May
