Dyann is sooooo right! I had a panic attack a couple of days before my surgery because I thought I needed a bowel prep the night before and it turns out that my surgeon was one of the one's that don't require that, like a few others on this board. Also, I am 8 days post-op and could technically start on soft/pureed foods today if I wanted, whereas some people are on full liquids for up to 4-wks before advancing to soft/pureed.

So, try to get as much info as possible from your research so you have a comprehensive list of questions when you do see your surgeon. Also, there's a book call Weight Loss Surgery for Dummies. Some of the folks on here swear by it and I'm thinking about looking for it too.

Good luck in your journey!
