I feel what you are going through, Melanie... It's only be 24 hours since I found out my surgery date and I have run though every emotion in the book. I think it is perfectly normal to be having all these emotions! I mean, if you didn't have a care in the world about it? How realistic do you think your expectations would be? Sometimes I think our minds cover all the "what ifs" just to soothe our souls.
Let it run it's course, embrace it all! And remember that YOU are in the driver's seat. No one is making you do anything. Options are a BEAUTIFUL thing!
