size of pouch
i'm four years out. if i go out to lunch, i can eat a half a sandwich. what's interesting, though, is two or three years ago if i were to over eat i would feel like crap and be physically sick. now four years later if i were to over eat and say eat a whole sandwich instead of a half, i would feel like crap, but i would not be physically ill. i went to lunch with someone the other day. she doesn't know that i know she had wls and gained back all her weight plus more. she had to eat for lunch a double blt sandwitch and all the fries. her plate was clean. she also had two diet cokes. it amazes me that someone could go through surgery and then be able to eat that volume of food again. like i say, i would feel like crap, but at this point i don't think it would make me throw up or anything. it really is only a tool.
