Pouch size.
I'm just curious what everyones pouch size is? I have heard some that are 2 oz. I have a few friends here locally that had it done in St. Louis and they both have a 4 oz pouch. I have a 1 oz pouch. That is it. Though i know that they stretch eventually. My doctor said that over several years (as long as i follow my diet properly) it would only expand an ounce or 2. Maybe that explains alot of the differences in the amounts of weight that everyone loses and how quickly they lose it. It took June 3 months to lose 36 pounds. I lost 40 in the first month. It took Marcy a long time to lose her weight. They had to do 3 tummy tucks on her to remove all of her belly. WHich is one of the reasons i was so scared that i lost it so fast in the beginning. Both of the girls that i know that have had it done had 4 oz pouches, open surgery, and had their surgery done in St. Louis. They both had ALOT of problems. One has gained back almost 100 pounds and she had hers done about 6 years ago. Of course she isn't following her diet anymore. But anyway...this place has given me hope, inspiration, knowledge, and a feeling of being 'normal'. I had so many questions and concerns and so far by reading all of the posts here...my worries are gone. I know that what i am feeling and going through now is just normal really for the GBP. Thank you all....And enough rambling. How small is your pouch?
