It's so interesting how each surgeon has their own eating plans. You say you're on soft pureed foods. My plan was two weeks of liquids, and there was no differentiation between clear liquids and full liquids, but when I was on liquids I couldn't have jello or yogurt as they werent considered liquids. Now I'm on four weeks of pureed foods, which means that anything I eat is supposed to be pureed to the consistency of baby food. My next stage is soft foods. I do not yet know the differentiation between pureeds and softs, but will find out at my nut appointment on Jan. 15. My plan is slightly different than others because I did not have the straight RNY, I have a banded pouch or Fobi pouch, but the banded RNY meal plan and regular RNY meal plan at my surgeons is not that different from my understanding. Anyway, it is just interesting to me to compare how different all the eating plans are post-op!
