ok.. That was my problem too over the years. I have joined gyms several times just to quit after a week. I finally broke down and got a trainer. As long as I was working with him I was focused. After 2 weeks and 6 sessions I was not self concious about myself. I just focused on a structured workout and did what I needed to do. So what can you do at home? Cardio for sure at this point but if you don't feel balance enough I understand. I jump rope, use an eliptical machine and that's about it on the cardio side. Try some balance ball excersizes. The ball is fairlt inexpensive and it will really help you core muscles. That should help a lot with balance and coordination. The thing to do when going off on any adventure tho is to take the first step.
