Okay it has to do with the amount of small intestine they romove during the GBP procedure. Proximal is what Dr C and Dr P do... they cut less than 14 inches of intestine... isnt that right? And then distal is removing more than 14 inches...... I think thats right. Im sure I will be corrected if different or if I have it back wards!
