I took this from a previous post of Dyann's, if you search for stricture in the above menu bar you will find other discussions on them.
The hallmark of a stricture is a progressive intollerance for solids worsening to liquids and foods you previously tollerated, you don't anymore. 4-6 weeks is usually when they start. It is better to get it diagnosed and treated early rather than late to avoid dehydration and it is easier to dilate a narrow opening rather then a pinhole.
