You know, I was actually PREPARING to do the occasional "chew and spit" post-op if I just HAD to have a taste of something--- until I watched a documentary on HBO a few weeks ago about anorexia-- it seems the "chew and spit" is a common anorexic behavior.
That kind-of weirded me out... after listening to anorexics talk about it, I don't think I'll be able to do it.
