You are doing great on the pre-op diet. I did well week#1...but the end of week#2....I snapped....went to Delitown and got a big fat sandwich! Turkeyw/swiss/cranberry sauce/lettuce/tomato/etc. etc. on Dutch crunch bread!! Oh my goodness...it was heaven. I felt very guilty about it, but still lost 14 pounds in the 2 weeks, and went into surgery weighing 230. I had some problems after surgery (unrelated to the big sandwich..lol) and there were times when I was laying in that hospital bed vomiting....and I looked back fondly on that sandwich and it made me feel better. How sick and twisted is that? I'm just so glad all is well now, and I am able to eat a small amount and be satisfied...it's a feeling I've never had. You will love it! My point to the story...is don't beat yourself up over chicken noodle soup....there's always someone who's blown it worse....her name is Elaine!
