Mike, I don't have stricture experience...however, I do work for Digestive Health....GI doctors....and the food getting stuck business does sound like a stricture. From what I hear, it's pretty simple to go in there and dialate the esophagus so that doesn't happen. However, I don't have 1st hand experience. I know others on here have, and will respond to this. Now, if you have a blockage, or pneumonia, I'm your girl! lol! (I had surgery 10/23 and developed a blockage 1 week later, had to have a 2nd surgery 11/6, and then developed a bad case of pneumonia! I am currently home, but still on oxygen and breathing treatments. No idea when I will be able to return to work).....Good times!!! On the upside....the 2nd surgery was a success. I can eat just fine...no bad experiences at all...yet.....knock on wood!!!
