I know I haven't posted much on here in a while, but school this semester is keeping me super busy. I saw your post and had to reply to it. I have been experiencing the something. I have tried to play it off for a while, but it has progressively gotten worse. I get the pains and they last for abut an hour to 2 hrs, sometimes waking me up in the night. I had an endoscopy before school started in Sept. and nothing was found. I have been dealing with the pain by taking Tylenol, but I'm at the point where it barley helps. I have found that lying down relieves it a little than when I stand up (hunched over). I usually just lie down with a heat pack and wait for it to pass. The surgeon wanted to see me, but because of my hard courses this semester it has been difficult to go home to Boston. I have an appointment for a barium swallow when i go home for thanksgiving. I was starting to think that maybe this had nothing to do with my gastric bypass, but recently it has gotten harder at some points to eat solid foods, with out it first feel as if it is getting stuck. Also not to be too graphic but i am also having very watery BM with not a lot of substance when i do go. I feel that i am eating enough food with substance that the BM should be a little more than what it is. I think they were questioning a small obstruction, but i think its a bit of an over reaction and that my pain would be a lot worse. I am interested to see what your results are. good luck!
