Lisa, dr. nohr told me liquid/blended diet for the first 8 weeks, then the video thing then i could try foods after that.
i have an appt with the dietician on the 24th of this month, hoping that will shed some light for me
wow, i am looking at your menu and i cant imagine getting all that in, 1/4 cup of fluid and when i try food, im lucky to eat a tsp of, like the cottage cheese this morning, was going to try for a tablespoon, only got in a teaspoon before i felt full and i learned not to eat after that feeling cuz thats when i puke....oh chili...yumm, i wish, i am going to try stew (mushed up) for supper tonight, i put it in my slowcooker before i went to work and cannot wait to try that...but i keep thinking why would nohr tell me blended/liquid only for the first 8 weeks, and you were having food by now? i dont get it.

Popsicles really are the key to surviving early out. I ate snow cones - no flavor and loved the crunching of ice. Cold was never an issue for me, some it was.
Your meals now should be food, not liquids. Liquids happen between meals up to 1/2 hour or so before you eat and about an hour after you eat. The liquid meals can be of substance ie: protein....chicken soup, tomato soup, cocoa, protein drinks.
Feel free to email me...or chat here.......We are here for you!
An example of eating for a day at your stage was:
B- yogurt, boiled egg white (maybe only 1/2)
L - cheese, egg white, applesauce or chunky soup, maybe 1/4 grilled cheese
D - chili or ground beef with sauce, or cheese w/tomato sauce
In between each of the meals: 2-3 popsicles, 1 bottle of water, chicken cup o soup, 1 cocoa, 1-2 herbal tea. Slow but steady. I tried to space out my meals by 5 hours....thus an hour of waiting and 4 hours of actively drinking.
