When I checked in, they had a phlebotomist upstairs waiting for my arrival. They did draw my blood, but they didn't weigh me. They also make you do a urine sample as well if you are a female and within child bearing years and have not been "fixed" lol It is a pregnancy test they do to ensure you are not pregnant at the time of surgery..
