Jan, I found the pain cream I was telling you about and it's in a white 4 oz tube, with blue writing and says on the front "PAINCHILLER, pain relieving gel with ilex. Non-staining, non-greasy, and odor-vanishing formula, penetrates deep to soothe pain associated with backaches, arthritis, and sore mucles and joints". I guess the name of it is PAINCHILLER. Also, I have been reading about a remedy for my ulcer and found that Aloe juice helps heal gastrointestinal ulcers, which makes sense, and also it list arthritis and joint pain as an illness that it helps because it's an anti-inflammatory. So, maybe you need to do some research on Aloe Vera Juice. You can get the odorless and tasteless juice to drink. That's what I have. It looks and tastes just like water. Also, it promotes blood flow and healing, so it definitely wouldn't hurt your pouch post-op. Would probably help your suture lines heal faster.
