Regarding the question of what was I doing at two weeks out, I was pretty much psychotic from the exhaustion and the pain meds, and was sobbing on the phone to my best friend something on the order of "what have I done!" Every single person is different--and here's hoping you have a great time.

Hotel service can be great in Las Vegas, according to where you're staying. If there's not one in your room, request a fridge--they'll be happy to bring you one. And there are grocery stores, just not on the Strip. Go down to where Tropicana Avenue crosses the Strip (the corner that has a massive casino on each side, New York, New York, the Trop, Excalibur, and MGM) and go east on Tropicana--as soon as you get past UNLV, there are grocery stores galore, Walgreens, etc. I lived in Las Vegas for four years...

Hey thanks for the great advice! So when you say powder mixes, what do you mean exactly. That is one thing I feel kind of blank on is the after part. They did not really say what to stock up on other than puddings, jello, broths, etc. OH I PRAY I AM A LUCKY ONE and have little problems!! Man, Lord knows I have been around the block twice now with this, something is bound to come out right!!
