I am willing to do everything I can (within means of course).. in a healthy way.. To lose a decent amount in the first 2 weeks for my trip. I think the more I walk within the guidelines the better, so I am ready for walking while in Vegas. I understand that is important in the healing process.. AND do not plan on overdoing it, but I definately do not want to be under doing it! With all that... it made me curious..

How much did you all lose your first 2 weeks post op? and did you do the walking as prescribed? If they let me do more, I would like to.. I just dont want to over do it! Give me details on your first 2 weeks postop.

Am I dreaming that I will be ready for my trip? Do you think losing 20 pounds post op 2 weeks is not realistic?
Wow, kudos to you Julee for taking a trip 2 weeks post op. There is no way I could have done it. The eating alone was a full time job. I walked 20 minutes a day, twice a day and it was exhausting. At two weeks it was all about protein and water. That is all I could think about. Good Luck!!
