Hi. You sound just like me one week out. ( I am 5 weeks post now) and yes, I have felt that way too even now. I wondered if he did the surgery the right way. I've listened and observed to others who have gone through the surgery (my sister did 3 years ago and is still doing beautifully) I have lost 28 lbs so far (so I know the surgery worked) . When you said you ate 2x and you're still hungry I am wondering what you had, how much and how soon in between meals and are you getting your protein shakes in???? I actually tried something not quite "soft stage" today and thought I was going to faint from the pain (never happend before...another good sign the surgery was done ha ha) The biggest thing my doctor suggested was to make sure I am getting my protein shakes in , the water, fat free milk etc. in between my meals and to eat the meals first. wait 45 min before I start my shakes.. good luck and be careful of what you "take in before you're supposed to " I wouldn't wish the pain I had most of this afternoon on anybody. Denise F.
