I agree that eating protein with it is a great idea. But also, further out, fruit can be a healthy, no fat, low cal way to divert your attentions from other sweets.

But at that point it isn't such a struggle with the protein, so it's easier to fit it in even if eaten alone or along with your meal. Oh, I also eat yogurt or nuts sometimes with mine for the protein.
