I can eat fats and sugar both, but I limit them. I do all sweeteners just fine and actually admit to using them quite a bit. Sugar alcohol though is terrible for me. I am better off choosing a lower sugar version of something and using moderation (like dark choc, or choc with nuts, or plain cake, no icing). I do have some foods with fat, but have pretty close to eliminated any deep fried crap from the diet. I occasionally have chips or fries, but my chicken, fish, etc I now eat grilled, baked, and broiled. They still taste good and use seasonings or sauces and really don't miss the greasy breading much. Supplement costs vary widely. I would click around online for price ideas, or check out your local GNC. Good luck.
