Sweet Potato Suffle'
Here is a recipe from my step-dad that is absolutely delicious:
By the way...I couldn't tolerate the sugar in this, but the other people in my party could. They really loved this recipe.
topping:
1/2 cup brown sugar
1/2 cup sugar
4 tablespoons flour
1 cup pecan pieces
1/4 cup karo syrup
4 tablespoons butter
1 can 28oz sweet potatoes
2 eggs
1/2 cup sugar
1 stick butter
1/2 cup whole milk
2 teaspoons vanilla
pinch of soda, nutmeg, cinnamon
mix well and pour in dish
spoon on topping
cook @ 350 for 45 minutes uncovered or until firm
top with marshmallows for last 5 minutes (until brown)
