We had spent approx $15,000 on snowmobiles which we only used about 4-5 times a year and I never felt guilty about that. Why should I feel guilty about spending for something that would reconstruct my body and I would have the benefit of for every breathing moment for the rest of my life? Once I looked at it that way I was able to let go of the guilt.

Great points, Veronica! I don't have a partner that I share funds with, but I do have two boys that I am raising. I keep thinking about what else that money could go towards for them. If I decide to go through with this, I'll have to find a way to let go of the guilt, so thanks for the words of advice!
