1. After surgery do you still have the sensation of feeling hungry???
2. How bad is the pain (lyproscopic)???
3.Has anyone experienced childbirth after surgery???
4.What should I expect the first couple of days home after surgery??
Thanks....
1. Honestly, I sometimes have to force myself to eat. I've gone several days with eating only 1 meal(my doctor said only eat when you are hungry, so...).

2. With my laproscopic surgery, my pain was ok if I was upright, but when I was laying down, the staples pulled at me and it was horrible. I had an almost impossible time sleeping. Once the staples were out I felt FANTASTIC.

3. I've seen several posts about people being pregnant but none so far have gone to term. Browse around and use the search feature. But as a second, my doctor always said in his seminars that if you were having the bypass surgery you should NOT get pregnant for the first 18 months. Otherwise serious complications could ensue.

4. My first couple days were spent craving foods I couldn't have, shaking off the drugs, and hobbling around. It's pretty bad but it gets better really fast.

Good luck and welcome to your new life!
