Well for me (like Bridget said) there is a big difference between gloating about it vs. oops, I ate something I shouldn't have. This is not an easy thing, loosing weight regardless of how you do it, is tough.
I come here for support, I feel I can type how I feel and I am just thankful that we are not all the same; that others can provide infomation so that people like me who don't have a support group, or a doctor who "has a food plan" can come and learn how to use the tool I have been so graciously given.
I speak of moderation too, but I know for me, there are some things that are just off limits (sugar items, breads, pasteries, chip...you get it). I don't want them, don't want to see if my pouch likes them or not. Where my tool hopefully helps me is in the moderation. I wasn't a super bad eater before, but major bulk...apparently my stomach was the size of a football when they did the surgery. I don't ever want to be back there again. I don't keep the junk food in the house, if I did, I might be tempted to eat them. There is pasta, bread, rice ect for my family, but I don't want them. I never want to go back to where I was....I still need to be reminded of that..........and you all do a good job helping me get my head around this.
